About Tradepoint Enterprise

While some factors in achieving business success will always be unpredictable, the advent and growth of computers and the World Wide Web have created an environment where some of those factors are now more predictable and even necessary. Business software solutions are one such element bringing structure to businesses to manage and direct growth.

What is now know as TradepointEnterprise came about as a result of a software consulting and design groups from the late 1990's who worked with larger enterprises such as TD Water house and Bell Canada designing and building custom ERP solutions to provide a unified technology environment bringing together all aspects of business activity within a single software solution.

This practical experience led to the realization of both the need for innovative technologies in business software and a new direction in business management software for smaller to mid-sized businesses. Darwin brought together several key factors for flexible networking options, lighter hardware requirements, diverse functionality and high security in the process.

Application development began in the late 1990’s with Darwin Productions, Inc. being formalized in 2003 and Tradepoint Enterprise (known at the time as Evolution Business Management Software) was publicly available in the spring of 2004. Reflecting the consistent growth over the last 5 years, Evolution Business Management Software has been re-branded as Tradepoint Enterprise in 2009.

Building on a solid foundation of business management software as a platform, developing additional tools for Ecommerce, industry specific tools and flexible communications management provide added in-depth tools for different industries to better manage growth in local and world markets was a natural next step in our product development.

Combining a passion for actuating the potential for success faced by growing businesses as a means of self expression and developing new technologies, Darwin Productions has an eye on the future with a new generation of product development already underway with the intention of creating practical opportunities where there was once unpredictability in the world of business technologies.
